We get it, the terms and conditions, who even reads them.  Truth is we need them, so we have tried to keep them as interesting as possible.

Frequency

4 weekly or one-off cleans are the only available options.  Due to the time, effort and water usage, all first cleans and one off cleans are priced at £8* then just £4 per visit on a 4 weekly basis should you opt for a regular service.  If after a one-off, you wish to use our services on a 4 weekly basis, please let us know within the next 4 weeks to ensure you don’t pay another one-off clean charge next time around.

*Note, if your bin is not cleaned for whatever reason on 2 occasions back-to-back, the next clean would be priced at £8.

Payment

Only online or advanced payments during cleaning are accepted by us at Binzruz Ltd. We prefer direct debit as it encourages cash flow and ensures customers’ accounts are all up to date, with this, we hope we don’t have to increase our prices for a while. Deals are available via our website too. In addition, we take a cheque (minimum £20) ask for details of where to send this, or you can pay by card (minimum £8) when we are cleaning your bin.

All payments, once made, are final.  Once processed the money is subject to VAT and fees (depending on the method used i.e. Stripe fees).  The only time we would issue a refund is if we could not fulfil the clean.  In this instance we would refund via the same method used to pay for the clean.

We work tirelessly to bring you the best service, all we ask is that you make a conscious effort to keep your account up to date using one of the payment methods we have available.

When Wouldn’t My Bin Be Cleaned?

Staff holiday, illness or reshuffle of rounds due to certain circumstances would be the only time we couldn’t clean your bin.  However, if after cleaning your bin the bill has reached £8 owed, or we feel there’s no effort made from the customer to settle the bill, this may result in a temporary suspension of the customer account until the debt is settled. If our records also show your bin has ‘been away’ constantly or ‘requested to miss’ or even ‘Bin full’ 4 or more times within a 12-month period, we may again suspend your account.  The reason for this is due to a high demand we often have to turn customers away as we are too busy, therefore we must ensure the customers on our round receive our service 90% of the time.  With a text reminder service available, there’s a convenient way to know when we are coming (to opt into our free text service, simply text 07771332807 and ask for your number to be added to your text reminder service).

Staff Promise

As an employer we have a duty of care to our staff ensuring they work in the best conditions we can offer them and they remain safe at all times.  Due to this any loose dog/animal waste in a bin will result in the bin clean being refused and can lead to potential suspension of the account.  In addition, abuse or aggression to our staff will instantly result in suspension of the customer’s account, we treat our customers with the utmost respect and expect the same in return.  If you feel our staff acted unprofessionally you can click the staff feedback tab and leave anonymous feedback (only management can see) which will be dealt with accordingly.

Contacting Us

We prefer email or texts due to being busy during working hours, in and out of the office all day.  An email/text allows us to catch up faster and easier.

Cancelling Your Service

If you wish to cancel for any reason, or you move out simply send us a message, rather than let us clean a bin that we won’t get paid for.  We ask for basic respect in return for our service, and by sending us a text your saving us a lot of time and money.

Payment Notice

All payments are due no later than 48hrs after a visit. We urge all customers to pay in advance/direct debit if unable to keep their account up to date manually. Failing to comply with our payment terms will lead to either GoCardless (Direct debit) being the only option or suspension of the account if we decide little to no effort to pay on time. We send reminder texts before every clean *If you don’t receive one, please send your mobile number and 1st line of address to 07771332807.

In the event of missing 2 cleans consecutively due to owing money, i.e. bin being away or any other reason, your next clean will be charged at £8. If you need a balance check, simply text: 07771332807

Deals are available to advanced payers owing £4 or less: 4 Cleans for £15 or 12 cleans for just £45

Please note: As a customer, it’s your job to ensure your account is up-to-date.

Missed Clean Notice:

As a small business it’s imperative that we get every customer’s bin cleaned every month.  That’s why we state that any customers bins missed for 2 consecutive cleans will be followed by an £8 first clean charge the following month. We offer text reminders when we are due the day prior, so there is no excuse for missed cleans. If you only put out the bin every couple of weeks regardless, please ensure it’s put out for empty and left there to clean until 4.30pm that day. If accounts show patterns of missed cleans, whether that’s for the bin not being available to clean or outstanding debt on the account, your account will be suspended. The reason for this is we have a waiting list on each available day of over 20 customers.  If we aren’t getting your bin cleaned and not earning, we need to have customers on the rounds who require it every month and as a result ensure the bins available each month.

  • Missed cleans equal no money, our staff wages overheads don’t reduce in unison with our missed cleans
  • We offer staff bonus for 100% records of cleaning each day
  • We have a waiting list of over 20 people on each day we are out cleaning
  • Monthly service is to ensure the bin stays clean (maintenance) missing cleans then requires more time, water, and products
  • It costs us to text you, per message, per card, the fuel and the time to come and see your bin isn’t available, this time could be spent cleaning.
  • We have a maximum capacity on each round, so we count your monthly clean as part of this, without it our days then at a loss.

Monthly Charges Per Visit

Due to thousands of pounds in losses due to missed cleans over the last 5 years, as of April 2nd 2024 all customers will be charged PER VISIT.

This in simple terms means your bin must be available roadside to clean until 5pm, if bins are full, not put out, locked away, requested to miss when we arrive these will all still be charged at £4.

We offer a free text service the day prior, meaning there’s no reason your bin shouldn’t be available to clean. If you will be on holiday when you get the text the night before, let us know by 8pm the same day, and we will remove you from that day’s clean and won’t charge for the visit.
