An average day starts at 7.30am arrival at the yard and finishes 5pm leaving the yard, the company rewards effort, hard work and a can do attitude. Typically, an average day is 80 bins+ so fitness is a very important attribute to be successful here. Eye for detail and superb customer service is the bare minimum expected to maintain employment here, in return many perks and financial rewards with progression.

Job role:
To clean domestic and commercial bins across Teesside & North Yorkshire to the highest standard.
Visiting domestic households to clean waste bins and commercial premises, the right candidate must have superb communication skills, professionalism, initiative, and eye for detail, offering an exceptional and lasting impression after every visit.
Day to day roles include cleaning trailers down, cleaning the unit, and general organisation and cleanliness of the work vans, ready for each working day. The job will progress to training of exterior cleaning too, on domestic and commercial premises again, cleaning of car parks, gutters, patios, and more. Full training will be given.
Our bin cleaning systems are trailer based so basic understanding or experience is a bonus, but training can be given.
The job role requires someone who understands how to operate a basic tablet/pc and a satnav, as our systems are electronic.
Cash handling is also involved in the job, so basic maths is essential too.
The applicant should be physically very fit, covering on average 5+ miles per shift.
You will be working on your own for the majority of the day, communicating via WhatsApp/Work Message App is paramount!
Days/Hours:
Starting on a 6-week probation, 20-25 hours a week (Tuesday to Friday) rising to 40 hours a week eventually.
(All hours are paid, with no time deducted for lunch break)
Hours are typically 7:30-5:00 with 30 minutes variation either way, so flexibility is key.

Salary:
£11 per hour to start after your 6 week probation period
Bonuses and Commission available on top of your wage are typically £20-£80 per week, plus an uncapped commission for exterior work (gutters/driveways etc) quotes successfully landed
Bonuses available:
– Clean 95-104 bins in one day and get 10% extra bonus (ie 97 bins cleaned earns you an extra £9.70 on your wages)
– Clean 105+ bins daily and get a 20% bonus (ie 106 bins cleaned earns you an extra £21.20)
– £250 end of year bonus (attendance related and increasing by 10% every 3 years served)
– All one-off cleans paid by cash are kept by the cleaner.
– 1 extra paid holiday day per 3 years service
– Fuel allowance is £100 a month after 3 years, £200 after 6 years and £300 a month after 10 years, based on 100% attendance for that month
Most bonuses and uncapped commission are available from day 1 of employment.

Most days the right applicant will work on their own in their own van on their own round (after training period) so initiative and someone confident and proactive is a must for this job role.
